I’ve worked for the Utah County Clerk’s office for the past five years. I began in the Elections Division where I gained first hand experience in voter database maintenance and ballot center operations. I know the system, I know the safeguards, I know how to protect against vulnerabilities.

I’m currently working as a supervisor in the Marriage License and Passport office where I have been instrumental in the development and roll-out of our completely online Marriage License and Officiant Submission system. Every year I've responsible for a major upgrade to the system along with tracking statistics and creating budget reports. 

Prior to working in government, I spent two decades working in higher education. I studied, taught, and administered: organizational leadership, conflict management, systems theory, group dynamics, decision making, civic advocacy, political communication, distance education, interpersonal relationships, public speaking, and technical writing. 

I live in Provo with my wonderful wife, amazing college-age son, and faithful dogs, a Brittany spaniel and an English Setter.
